Bo Parsha Craft | Pharaoh and Israelite Leaving Egypt Puppets

Description

It features a Pharaoh puppet with a movable hand to point them to go, and an Israelite who will put on his belt and sandals, take his walking stick, and grab his sack of Matzot to leave in a hurry.

It’s perfect for teaching the Parsha torah portion to toddlers, preschool and elementary or for bible and Ancient Egypt classes. It’s also a fun Passover craft for telling the story.

 

These are glorified coloring pages, making them doable for any age group. Younger kids will need help with cutting and some assembly.

 

You can also stick to crafting just one of the characters, or gluing together parts for easier assembly. I do include instructions with tips in your download.

 

All crafts are coloring pages/uncolored – colored-in parts are just to showcase the craft better.

 

All my crafts are based on the accepted Orthodox Jewish understanding of the events (to the best of my ability).

 

Print then cut

Your download also includes PNG images of the parts with transparent backgrounds around the circle, and right within. These can be used with Cricut’s “print then cut” feature.

• Pharaoh (without arm)
• Pharaoh’s arm (attach with brad pin)
• Israelite puppet and his accessories: belt, sandals, stick
• 2-part sack to assemble as a “pocket” to hold 3 matzot (PNG comes with one since it’s the same)

 

This is the COLOR-IN version. Any colors showcased on the images is a sample craft.

This makes for a great teaching tool for Parshat Bo or any time you’re discussing Pharaoh sending the Hebrews away, such as when telling the Passover story.
