Description

It’s perfect for teaching the Parsha torah portion to preschool, elementary, and older students or for any time you want to teach about the details of the contents of the Mishkan or Holy Temple (Beit Hamikdash!)

These are glorified coloring pages, making them doable for any age group. They come in different versions based on what you want to do with them.

Please note: this was a very challenging craft to illustrate. I didn’t want it to be too technical – my goal was to provide something that is still playful like my other crafts but is as historically accurate as possible. I used reference images from multiple sources (including, of course, the original text), however, please be aware that I am not a historian or biblical expert – I’m an illustrator.

All my crafts are based on the accepted Orthodox Jewish understanding of the events (to the best of my ability).

How to use the Parshat Terumah craft
Print on cardstock or paper, color, cut out. Turn into a flipbook like I did, use them as puppets or flashcards. This is a COLORING PAGE craft – all images are uncolored. Photos are for illustrative purposes only. Please reference preview images for actual files you receive.

Versions Included

  • Back-to-Back cards (assembly required) that have the image on the front and on the back: 1. Hebrew name, transliteration, translation 2. Construct of the vessel and 3. Purpose of the vessel. This is ideal for older kids and a very educational setting.
  • Single sided cards with the images only – great for younger kids! My toddler was excited to see me make a menorah!
  • Coloring pages with Hebrew name, transliteration, translation – great for less crafting and more coloring!

Any colors showcased on the images is a sample craft.
This makes for a great teaching tool for Parshat Terumah or any time you’re discussing the Mishkan or the Beit Hamikdash

Note: I treat my art like art! That means that you may see some imperfections as would be expected in anything hand-drawn. I hope you can love and appreciate it like I do!
