Mt. Sinai (Har Sinai) Craft for Kids – Parshat Yitro and Shavuot

Description

It’s perfect for teaching the Parsha torah portion to toddlers, preschool and elementary. And as Har Sinai it is amazing as a Shavuot craft and activity too!

The center of the flowers fit perfectly with 3/4 inch dot stickers for a fun and versatile added spin. They are also great for Bingo (Do a Dot) markers.
There is an optional grass and fence that can surround it (it is not designed to attach).

All my crafts are based on the accepted Orthodox Jewish understanding of the events (to the best of my ability).

How to use the Parshat Yitro Mt. Sinai craft
Print on cardstock and/or colored paper, color, cut out. Assemble your mountain into a cone, slide your Luchot through the notch (a supporting craft stick helps but is optional). Optionally craft a fence with grass to surround it. Instructions are included with your download.

Act out the story, sing a song, use as a teaching visual, or just have fun with it.

Print then cut
Your download also includes PNG images with transparent backgrounds. These can be used with Cricut’s “print then cut” feature.

Parts Included

• Luchot with a stick to stick it into the mountain. The stick can be replaced or supported with a short craft stick (cut in half or get half-sized ones).
• A mountain template with flowers to color or use Bingo markers/dot stickers for the center.
• 3 Parts Grass
• 3 Parts fence.

This is the COLOR-IN version. Any colors showcased on the images is a sample craft.
This makes for a great teaching tool for Parshas Yisro or any time you’re discussing receiving the Ten Commandments – tablets (Luchot) – at Har (Mt.) Sinai.
